Packet Quays is a luxury waterside development with private slipways, secluded gardens, terraces and courtyards. It was constructed in the late 1980's using the 17th century quays that were originally home to the famous Falmouth packet ships. The terraced apartments slope down from the town's original main street to the harbour foreshore thus affording uninterrupted views of the world's third largest natural harbour.

The first two storeys of the development are communal garaging where each apartment has its own allocated parking bay. The entrance has a remote controlled door providing undercover, secure parking for your vehicle. Our own parking bay takes 2 small vehicles parked in tandem, or one long vehicle. Anchors Away is approached from the roof terrace of the communal garage. A door at the rear of the terrace leads to a flight of internal stairs. Anchors Away is situated on the 2nd floor.

Packet Quays is within a few minutes walk of Falmouth's town centre with its selection of restaurants and individual shops. For the sailors amongst you, the Royal Cornwall Yacht Club is only a few yards away, and the recently built maritime museum is but a short walk through the town. Located within easy access of Truro, Cornwall's main city and shopping centre, it is an ideal base from which to visit many of Cornwall's other attractions and famous gardens.
